The Vivid questionnaire

Bianca Brad began her showbusiness career while still at school, playing Princess Sunny Smile in a fairy tale and modelling for Confex, the clothing manufacturers. A graduate of the Romanian Film and Theatre Academy, in the early 1990s she was a familiar face on Romanian television, in roles that included that of hosting Cerbul de Aur in 1992 and 1994. Thereafter the lure of an international career beckoned, and after a stint studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, she starred in a number of television series in Germany, where she remains popular. Other highlights of her career have included winning the Miss Princess of Beauty award and being known as the Lux girl for a series of ads for the soap of the same name. She is the Public Relations Director for the Scala Business Solutions, and latterly released a CD of pop songs. She also writes a regular column on beauty and make-up tips in Unica, and presents TVR's "Emisiunea in Limba Germana", a cultural television show for Germans living here.
